Our Welsh Veterans Awards team are extremely pleased to welcome Bridgend Audi as this years main sponsors of the Welsh Veterans Awards.
The Veterans Awards is a fully not for profit organisation that promotes the positives from our military veteran community. Its been put together by Veterans for Veterans and those companies that support us with all money raised above costs going back into supporting our Veteran Community. We reward veterans in the areas of Sport, Fitness, Business, Health and Well-being and the wider community! This years Awards will be opened by Brigadier Jock Frasier Royal Marines and Supported by the Corps of Drums of the Royal Welsh, Shenkin the Goat along with the legendary Goat Major sponsored by Audi Sinclair Bridgend and in Support of the ABF The Soldiers Charity!
We caught up with Chris Jenkins (Head of Business) from Bridgend Audi and asked him a few questions:
Why did Audi Sinclair want to get involved with the awards?
“Bridgend Audi wanted to get more involved with the veterans within the local community, the Bridgend area is steeped in history and links to all the armed forces and this was an amazing opportunity to do so. Bridgend Audi has many loyal customers who have served in all of the armed forces and this is an opportunity to give a little back.”
Why you think the Awards will benefit the Veterans Community and those companies that support us?
“The Awards really drive a robust bridge between veterans leaving their duties and moving back into the commercial world. Not only does it recognise their efforts, it also offers them a vehicle to recognise the true value of the skills and characteristics they have gained during their service.”
What Audi Sinclair do and offer?
“Bridgend Audi sells and services beautifully engineered cars in a welcoming dealership, that in a modern age still really drives the family values of the Sinclair Group.”
We would like to thank all the team at Audi Bridgend for their support for our Veteran Community and look forward to celebrating the success on the evening itself!
